SAP ABAP Developer (Blockchain Integration)
We are currently looking for SAP ABAP Developer (Blockchain Integration) who can develop and maintain ABAP programs and integration logic that connects SAP ERP modules to the blockchain system for payments, data exchange, and other business processes.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Build ABAP programs that push/pull data to/from blockchain APIs.
- Implement secure data handling (digital signatures, payload hashing, encryption).
- Design and maintain OData / REST / SOAP services for SAP blockchain communication.
- Work closely with the blockchain developer to ensure smooth integration.
- Support SAP ERP modules involved in payments, finance, supply chain, or other critical workflows.
- Test and troubleshoot integration issues, including performance and error handling.
Required Skills
- Strong ABAP development skills (OO-ABAP preferred).
- Experience with SAP APIs, OData, REST/SOAP services.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP / CPI / SAP integration techniques (nice-to-have).
- Understanding of cryptography basics and digital signatures in SAP.
- Familiarity with SAP payment modules (FI-CA, FI-AR, or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to read and work with external API documentation.
Other Requirements:
- Any nationality but Bahraini is preferred
- 3–5 years SAP ABAP experience, with ERP integration projects.
- Experience integrating SAP with external systems (banks, fintech, or blockchain).
- Exposure to secure data transmission or SAP Secure Store & Forward (SSF).
